About the Entry Visa Guide editorial team

entryvisaguide is an independent, plain-English guide to visa and entry rules for people travelling on a full British citizen passport. We do not issue visas, ESTAs, ETIAS authorisations, ETAs, eTAs, e-Visas, or arrival cards. Entry Visa Guide is an independent information site. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or run by any government or public authority. Always check official sources before you travel.

How we check

  1. Read GOV.UK foreign travel advice for that destination, on the entry-requirements page.
  2. Read the destination authority as well, such as the foreign ministry, the immigration department, or the application site that authority runs.
  3. Write the answer in short sentences, link those pages, and date the guide.
  4. If a figure is not on those pages, leave it out. We do not fill a gap with a guess.

The destination guides were last verified on 16 October 2026. The name on each page is the Entry Visa Guide editorial team. That is a desk, not a named person, and it is not a public authority. We do not list degrees, licences, or job titles.

Travel rules explained

The guides sort a trip into a short label. The label is a summary of the linked sources, not a decision on your case.

  • Visa-free means a short visit with no visa application before travel, inside the limit on that page.
  • eVisa · Travel authorisation means you apply online before you travel, on the authority’s website. We link to that website. We do not take the application.
  • Visa on arrival means the permission is issued when you arrive, as described on that page.
  • Visa needed means you need a visa before travel, often through an embassy, and an online shortcut may not exist.

Longer notes on EES, ETIAS, andESTA are in the guides section.

Recent changes

Each destination page has its own change note. The 16 October 2026 check replaced the earlier sample figures. If a rule moves, the page should show a new date and the source. Until that happens, treat 2026-10-16 as the last verification, not as a promise that the rule is frozen.
